Gazpromneft – Lubricants Company has proved safety of bunkering with marine oils in St. Petersburg and Murmansk ports

In St. Petersburg Great Port and Murmansk port Gazpromneft – Lubricants Company carried out maneuvers in oil product spill containment when bunkering with marine oils from berth.
Various options for activities during an emergency oil product spill were elaborated when carrying out loading operations.
According to evaluation of the expert board which comprised representatives of port administration and EMERCOM, experience and skills of Gazpromneft – Lubricants personnel make it sure vessels are supplied with poured oils in sea ports in a safe manner.
Strict adherence to the safety precautions is one of the major priorities of our Company, says Alexander Trukhan, CEO, Gazpromneft – Lubricants. When performing bunkering from berth, we ensure the process in such a manner that possibility of emergencies is extremely low. And we understand that safety may only be guaranteed by the complete preparedness that our specialists have in any abnormal environment. For this very reason we carry out training and drilling sessions on the regular basis which helps proving a higher level of skills our personnel has.’
