Gazprom neft increases sales of g-energy engine oils by two thirds in 2015

In 2015 Gazpromneft - Lubricants Ltd., operator of engine oil business of Gazprom Neft, increased G-Energy brand sales by 69%, from 19 to 32 thousand tons. The record has been achieved mostly due to increased volume of sales of synthetic and semi-synthetic engine oils through the retail chain and vehicle service stations.

Overall in 2015 sales of Gazpromneft - Lubricants Ltd. increased by 11%, to 528,000 tons. Of those, 222,000 tons sold in Russia and abroad were of premium grade, 24% more than in 2014.

Last year the company significantly expanded its regional presence, having started operation on the markets of India, Vietnam, Croatia and Cyprus. Today G-Energy and Gazpromneft brand products are sold in 57 countries of the world.

According to the project of Vehicle Service Station development, a total of 20 G-Energy Service Stations were opened in St. Petersburg, Orel, Erevan, Brest, Tbilisi, Astana, Perm and other cities. In 2016 new stations will open in Russia, the CIS, Western Europe, Middle East and other regions of presence. According to project conditions, Gazpromneft - Lubricants Ltd. assists VSSs in acquiring equipment, training staff, carrying out marketing activities and advertising, All G-Energy Service brand stations are designed in the same style, equipped with modern technological equipment and built in accordance with cutting-edge standards of industrial and ecological safety.

The company continues improving G-Energy and Gazpromneft brand products improving their quality. To that end, oils and technical liquids are tested in extreme conditions of rally races. Last year Gazpromneft - Lubricants Ltd. had its materials tested in more than 100 various races. At Dakar Rally Marathon alone, G-Energy Team and MAZ-SPORTauto used G-Energy Racing oils, and the special mobile lab helped hold more than 45 special tests, which approved the quality of the materials.
